A week after posting our last update about Nepal, God completely blessed us! Went from needing a couple thousand dollars to needing about one thousand! Our God never fails us! We just need to be heading in the direction that he wants us to go or else He answers our prayers in a way we were not expecting. Just because it isn’t the answer we want, doesn’t mean that God doesn’t answer prayer. Sometimes it is difficult getting the answer we do not want to hear. He always has a greater purpose for us. In this case, we have been given the answer to whether or not we should be going. God gave us this answer months ago when Brent and I were praying about it. It is so awesome to see God directing us!
We are slowly finding out information about our trip, but it is still subject to change. We have some amazing opportunities for us while we are in Nepal. We will fill you in when we know more. We have an awesome team of 24 people going and have been split into 4 different groups. Three teams will be hiking through the Himalayas bringing the gospel and supplies to remote villages. Some of these villages are unreached! What a great opportunity to share God’s word. Brent is on one of those teams. The other team will be in Kathmandu working with children’s homes and women rescued from human trafficking. What another great way to show God’s love! This is the group that I will be in.
Pray for us as we have a lot of prep work before heading out in 6 weeks. Continue to pray for the funds. We also have some things that we need to buy before we head over there. Pray that we have the money for those things as well. Pray for us while we are over in Nepal as well. We would love to have a huge group of people praying for us back home!
