NYC Sights

There are so many sights to see in NYC. Where do you begin? A nice long walk is a good place to start. We came across buildings and parks that we didn’t even think of seeing. We came across areas that we would have missed while riding underground on the subway. There are so many iconic sights in NYC that could be explored for weeks. I hope to go back one day and take more time at different places. We still missed out on a lot, but there is only so much you can do with 3 full days. Especially when one day is mostly taken up by a marathon. My favorite sights were: Washington Square, Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park and the 9/11 Memorial. So, pretty much every sight was my favorite. The memorial was surreal and humbling. I can’t explain it, but I am glad that we were able to see it. (The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are among the top as well, but I’ll feature those in a separate post). Oddly enough, I still loved riding around the subway and navigating my way throughout the city. New York City is a magical place. I also loved the people and watching them around the city.
