Of all the photography disciplines, night photography, and especially when the subject contains stars, patience is advised. On a few occasions over the past couple months I had my camera with me in the evenings and decided to take some shots of the open skies. Somehow each time I’ve been out, the moon has been absent, so not much in the way of ambient light.
