Flynn, Spring in MT and Why We Love it Here

Oh the joys of waking up on a late April morning to a few inches of snow on the ground. Just when the thought to leave windows open to let in a fresh breeze, a snow-laden environment proves the idea foolhardy. Spring in Montana is a fickle season, caught only in glimpses between the opening fist of Winter and the rays of the Summer sun. Sometimes enjoyed for a week at a time, but rarely longer.

But warmer weather is slowly taking hold, neighbors are out mowing their lawns between inclimate weather, runners out between passing storms. Spring in Montana beholds it’s own special splendor. The evening sun illuminating the growth of new vegetation, birds flitting through the air and one young pup chasing after them. He runs after his targets, barking in a exasperated attempt to simultaneously express excitement and frustration that they are just too fast to catch.
