Last week, a momentous occasion occurred. My Subaru rolled over 200,000 miles on our way out to Three Forks last weekend. We actually missed it by about two miles. We both couldn’t believe that my little car had passed such a milestone.
As usual the little green car rolled along, propelling us to our destinations reliably. Actually, it is the only car we have at the moment, due to some mechanical issues with the Pontiac that we need to resolve. It is surprising to look back and think how good that Subaru has been over the last eight years and nearly 80,000 miles I’ve had it. It may be a little beat up, have a leaky power steering assembly and get less miles to the gallon than it used to, but it’s been a great car!
