The other night, I attempted to put some more pictures on my computer from our camera. I say attempted because as the import was coming to an end, I got an error message. There is no more space on the computer to import any more photos. Brent and I have gone photo crazy this year. We have had a blast taking these photos and learning more about our own photography styles. We have learned a lot about photography in general over the last few years, but finally getting out there and using that information has made us better. We are still learning the ways of our cameras as there is so much to learn. DSLRs have given photography a new way of thinking. I was very comfortable using the old manual SLR that I used in both of the photography classes. Adding the new technology into what I already new made it a little difficult for me at first. Plus, Brent and I were not going out there to just take photos. I relied on auto more the first two years that I had my camera. I had tried a few times to go manual, but it was hard for me to make the switch from the SLR.
This year brought Brent a huge video project and with that came the funds for him to buy his own DSLR. We now both had cameras which meant we could go out to take photos and not share. I would just let Brent use my camera as I was not familiar with it and he knew what he was doing. I let him have the fun. Now we both have the opportunity to work on our photography. A hobby we both love and love doing together. With that said, if you have not noticed by our blog posts, we have had a blast over the last several months. Sharing this love on our blog has been a fun way for us to enjoy it even more.
One of these days, we will clear off some more space on the computer. (Hopefully this will be fairly soon as I would love to continue sharing our adventures asap). I will then be back posting more photos from the food I am making in my kitchen to our adventures to our photo excursions. For now, take a look back on what we have done throughout the year by selecting a category or a tag. Enjoy! You never know what you missed with all of our posts.
