The other day Brent was making his tasty puffed pancake for breakfast. He put the butter in the microwave to melt so that it could be mixed into his batter. All of a sudden, the microwave started sending out quick little spark noises. Brent could see the sparks flying and quickly turned it off. First thing I asked was, “What did you put in there?” All he had was a tiny glass bowl with the butter inside. There was no metal. Unfortunately, our microwave decided it no longer wanted to live. It was just burnt out and has the spot to show it. We are not in any hurry to rush out and buy a new microwave as there are many other things we would rather have at the moment. Good thing Brent has nine years of experience living without a microwave. Me on the other hand, I do not think I have ever lived without one. We have definitely managed the last several days and will continue to for a while. Oh technology, how lazy you make us sometimes.
