Took a short family hike today. It started to pour rain on us. We had fun exploring a little though.

He walked right up to the camera and just looked into it. I couldn’t help myself today.

Today was a special day. Our good friends from Bozeman were coming through town. We were able to spend a couple hours with them over Brent’s lunch. It was such a heart filled time.

The rain let up, so we spent a good chunk of time outside again this afternoon. The best part was Elijah sitting down multiple times in the wet grass and giving a look of disgust.

I love that we get to be outside now. Rocks are his new best friend. He can’t get enough of them.

Elijah is getting interested in climbing more and more these days. Sometimes, he gets pretty frustrated when he can’t get that other leg where he wants it to go. Is it bad that I just sit and watch? Ha.

Being outside is wonderful. We are loving the warmer days, but are looking forward to even warmer ones.

Our favorite snacks these days are apples with a side of peanut butter. Today, Elijah wanted to get every last bit of peanut butter from the bowl.

It was another beautiful day outside. Elijah decided that he would play with the wind chime that is in Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard. Oh the joy!

Ah, back to being able to have lunch with Brent once a week. It was a happy day for both Elijah and me. It is always good to have some play time with dad during the middle of the day. I think Elijah agrees.
