100 Days of Elijah: Day 59
Took a little short walk in the rain today. Elijah didn’t even seem to mind getting wet. I really do need to buy him a rain jacket.

Being outside is wonderful. We are loving the warmer days, but are looking forward to even warmer ones.

Our favorite snacks these days are apples with a side of peanut butter. Today, Elijah wanted to get every last bit of peanut butter from the bowl.

It was another beautiful day outside. Elijah decided that he would play with the wind chime that is in Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard. Oh the joy!

Elijah loves when I start baking something. He always wants to be a part of whatever I am mixing into a bowl. I made sure that grab a chair and include him. I can’t wait till he can do even more!

Ah, back to being able to have lunch with Brent once a week. It was a happy day for both Elijah and me. It is always good to have some play time with dad during the middle of the day. I think Elijah agrees.

The snow is finally gone in the backyard, so Elijah and I went out several times to enjoy it. I brought him back in to warm up once and he was so mad at me.

We are finally starting to get daily outdoor times! Even though it has warmed up, the hands seem to get cold quickly still. We are looking forward to jacket-less temperatures and more time with the little red wagon and rocks.

Grandpa gave him a flashlight to play with. He was thrilled. The best part is chewing on it though. He took it out of his mouth for a moment for me to capture him looking at it.

Halfway point! Today deserves two photos. Plus, I couldn’t pick one. This kids smile and laughter sure brightens my day even on the overcast days where there isn’t much color around and everything looks gray.
