It is week four of marathon training and another week of below zero temperatures. My rule is that I don’t run below 5 degrees. What do I do? Where do I go? A few weeks back Brent and I bought a bike trainer because it is hard to get outside in the snow and ice. Obstacle one – Cross train – defeated on Monday night by cycling inside my house on the trainer. Obstacle two – runs?!? Since I am training for a marathon, this is an important part. I don’t have a treadmill, my friends don’t either and I don’t have a gym membership. Luckily it is still early enough in the year that gyms went around town to businesses and dropped off free week passes. I decided I should take a couple so that I can continue my training. Here it goes to running on a treadmill. It has been years since I have actually done that. I am excited that I have an option!
