After my half marathon in Three Forks, MT, Brent and I decided to take a few detours that lead us farther away from home. We decided to hit up the Patagonia outlet store in Dillon, MT and we were already about 30 minutes closer because of the race. We decided why not just go! They were having one of their sales and we had never been. They already have discounted Patagonia gear and then the whole store was an additional 40% off. I freshened up and we hit the road to go farther west and south. We arrived at Dillon and went straight to the store. Brent and I were both due for new winter jackets, so we picked a couple up. I was very excited to have a jacket that fit! We wondered around the streets for a while and finally grabbed a meal at a local family restaurant. We spent a little more time roaming the streets and got back on the road.
We decided to take another detour before heading home and went to Virginia City, MT. We walked up and down the street looking at all of the old buildings and all of the little things that they had to offer. There were neat items placed inside the buildings. After about an hour wondering around and resisting the urge to go to the the candy store or ice cream store, we made our way home. It was a fun filled day but a tiring one. We were glad when we finally made it home.
