Finding the Perfect Tree

Brent and I have made it a tradition to go and cut down our Christmas tree in the mountains every year. These last 4 years we have done it the day of the Christmas Stroll in downtown Bozeman. We make a Christmas day out of it and usually end it with a Christmas movie. This year, we had our good friend Scott in town. We drug him up to Hyalite with us. This was the first year that we did not go up in the Bridgers to find our tree. We decided to take a road up in Hyalite that we had never been on. We took advantage of our awesome new Suby and drove it to the top of the road on the ridge line. We had views of the Bridgers that we had never seen before. It was absolutely beautiful. We spent only a few minutes wondering around before we found the perfect one. Our friend Scott was convinced it was perfect. Brent sawed it down and then we drug it up onto the road and made our way to the car. The guys strapped the tree on top. It was great to see that on top of the car. It made the Suby look legit. It was a fun drive down the mountain. We finished the day by decorating the tree and down to the stroll. It was a great Christmas filled day.
