How awesome is it that we serve and worship a living God? He loved/loves me so much that He died for all of my sins and yours. I love that we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. What a great time to bring it all back to him. If I were to only do this everyday. This is what I pray and strive to do daily. It is just so awesome to have a living God. Other religions worship dead men, gods that never existed or a god that they created themselves. Brent and I had a great Easter day. We spent our morning worshiping with our Venture church family during the service. Then we rushed home to quickly change to meet with them again to serve the community with an egg hunt. It was fun to see the joy on the children’s faces as they found egg after egg. Our day was not even close to being done at this point. We headed back home to change once again as my feet and pants got soaked from placing eggs over a snow covered field. It was worth it! We drove over to Ted’s Montana Grill to have an early dinner with our great friends and their 5 week old baby boy. What a joy it was to see that gift God gave them. After a couple of hours of talking away and enjoying each others company, Brent and I went over to our new friends’ house. We spent the rest of the evening eating more food, playing games and enjoying even more conversation. We were enjoying ourselves so much we didn’t even leave until 11:15. It was well worth the time to be in community. Today has been a little bit of a long day and Brent is even away from the house till about 10:00 tonight. Now to relax and to continue to reflect on my amazing God that I serve! I hope all of you enjoyed a wonderful Easter celebrating our Lord’s resurrection.
