Last night, we threw my parents a surprise going away party. They are less than two weeks away from embarking on a new adventure in Oregon. We invited many people to come and get a few last goodbyes in before the big move. It was great to see everyone supporting them and excited for their new life in Oregon. Throwing parties like this always turns out to be much more work than I think it is going to be. Sometimes a little over whelming. Did I let everyone know that would want to say goodbye? Making sure they don’t find out? And then the actual hosting of the party. I always tend to stress myself out during times like these. I can’t help it. It will be sad to see them go, but it will be nice to have both Brent’s and my parents in the same location. That will make any future moves for Brent and I easier knowing that they are both in the same location. I am excited for my parents to start this new life in a place they fell in love with. The next couple weeks will be busy with spending time together and packing. Hopefully I wont have to do too much of the packing. : ) We wish my parents the best of luck on this new journey!!
