I mentioned a few weeks back about the changing the photography side of Thirty Five Media into Jessica Sara Photography. It has been a lot of fun to create the website (which is a huge step for me), take pictures of mothers-to-be and new babies. I even get to attend a pop up wedding event next month to promote my business. I am excited!
So I am starting this business right? Well, it is more like moving a business and rebranding. I didn’t do a whole lot to help Brent out with Thirty Five Media. I enjoyed the photography side of it, but I wanted nothing to do with the business side. Now I find myself here doing the business side of it. I have enough of a background, thanks to my years at Owenhouse Ace Hardware, in accounting and customer service to help get things rolling a little more.
I’m going to be honest. The hardest part of all of this has been finding clients. How do I get my name out there in an area where I don’t hardly know anyone? I don’t want to be doing this as a full time thing. It is only part time because my number one duty is Elijah. I just don’t know. I am hoping that my names starts spreading. For now, I will keep trucking along with my clients every couple of weeks. We will see how it goes. Stay tuned to see what happens with this little business and where it takes me.
