Coeur d'Alene

Girls Weekend Celebration

Over this last weekend, my mom and I drove and met my sister and one of my best friends in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. As great as the weekend was, it was way too short. I could have spent days with these ladies. They are some of my favorites! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate turning 30 this week. We checked into our cut little bungalow style house we rented. We had a great time wandering around Tubb’s Hill and the downtown area after getting into town on Friday. We settled in for the evening for a movie night and just spent time talking and hanging out. It was the best.

On Saturday morning, I even got my sister to join me on a longish run along one of my favorite trails, the Idaho Centennial Trail. My favorite part of the trail was running along the lake. It was a quiet morning with hardly anyone out. It was chillier than I wanted, but refreshing at the same time. I enjoyed my alone time just being able to talk and catch up on life. We spent the rest of Saturday just hanging out in Spokane before finishing up with dinner in Coeur d’Alene.

Sunday was a lazy morning waisting some time just talking and hanging out before departing our ways. We headed over to a coffee shop where I tried a honey lavender latte. It is probably now my favorite coffee drink on the planet. NEED TO FIND ONE CLOSE TO ME!!!!! I love these ladies and can’t wait to see them again. I am just sad that I do have to wait.
