A Saturday Drive

Since I was still not feeling that great on Saturday, we decided to go out and take some photos. It has been a while since we have devoted set hours to this activity. We drove around the valley trying to find some new and fun spots to take pictures. We ended up close to the Spanish Peaks which gave us an amazing view of the Bridger Mountains. Plus…we were on a dirt road up in the hills that had several feet of snow drifts. We got stuck twice with the Outback, but managed to get ourselves out of it. It made for a fun experience. A little while later, we were on a small road outside of the little town of Gallatin Gateway. We saw an old green cellar that was along side the road, so we pulled off to take a few photos. Some people that lived down the road drove by and rolled down the window. They were the nicest people and they just talked to us about the land and what that old cellar was used for. I love small town Montana. People are so neighborly! Love it. It makes me think about how need to take time out in our busy days to just stop and say hi to someone instead of being so busy on our cell phones. It was a great day! It almost made up for not being able to run again. I’ll get healthy and back to it soon enough.
