Candied Spiced Almonds

I came across a recipe for a salad that had these candied spiced almonds. I made the salad, so I had to make these as well. They turned out tasty and I am excited to have leftovers! They might not last too long.

5 cups sliced almonds
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon vanilla
sea salt

Cook the sugar in a large pan on the stove on medium heat until it turns brown. Add the butter, cinnamon, cumin, paprika and vanilla. Mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and then toss in almonds. Cover almonds in the sugar mix and cook until the almonds are lightly brown. Spread the almonds on a greased piece of tin foil to cool. Enjoy!
