It was one of the girls birthdays yesterday, so one of her sisters and I spent time Friday night baking. She wanted to make a cheesecake which turned into me making it. Not a big deal as I love to bake. Plus it was fun to do a something a little special for “our” birthday girl. She then took on baking cookies for the birthday get together. Then this morning, Brent, her and I made another birthday cake for the “family”. This time it was a tasty caramel roll ice cream cake. Yes, this is what we spent our time doing on a Sunday morning before church. They were all tasty! We have been having a fun time with these girls. Who knew? We’ve been enjoying calling them our family for the week. They are great girls.
