No Lottery – What to do?

This last weekend I ran the Nike+ Women’s Half Marathon. Although they called it a half marathon, you only had to run at least 13.1 so I was able to run my scheduled 15 miler. It was fun to run although I was all by myself. I knew I was running for cancer. I registered for the event under team Victorious. They allowed everyone to register under a team name. The biggest team by the time of the event got an entry into the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco in October. This means, NO LOTTERY! I still have to pay for the race, but I can go no matter what. Now the question is, do I want to run another marathon this year? Do I want to train over the summer? The thing is, I might not get an entry in the future. What if this was my only chance? Do I really care that much about getting into this race? There are also other marathons I could run. Even if it wasn’t this one. To run or not to run? That is the question.
