Whatever We Want

Saturday was a day in which we had absolutely no plans. We did not even have to run. What do you do with a day like that? January was the last time on a Saturday that we did not have any plans except for running of course. We slept in until our bodies woke up around 7:00. Then we headed downstairs to have breakfast and coffee! We were out of coffee for a while and Brent was drinking the not so tasty stuff at work. After getting ready for the day, we decided to hop on our bikes and hit up some garage sales. Although we could not find anything we were searching for, it was a great morning of riding around. Then we headed downtown on our bikes, wondered around a bit, found some road bikes we would like to buy, and then went and shared a burger for lunch. We continued walking around as it was a great day to take some photos. We had fun looking at some of the old architecture around the downtown area and finally headed back out on our bikes to go find a park. At the park, we took some time to relax and soak up the sun that we were finally having. We grabbed out our Frisbee to toss around for a little while. Then we headed home to try and figure out what to do with the rest of our evening. We ended up going up to Hyalite which was a beautiful drive. I love that we live so close to the mountains that we are able to enjoy them. We went up as far as we could before hitting the road block as they have not opened the road entirely since winter ended. We got out and just wondered down the road on foot and had a great time taking more photos and seeing Hyalite in a new way. We finally headed home to stay, but were completely satisfied with the amazing day that we had doing whatever we wanted to do. Please enjoy my photos below from the days adventure.
